1. Current status
PULSE by Veyronix will let you delete your account in the app, or without the app using a one-time code sent to your account email. This page explains both. It does not collect any information itself.
Not yet available: account deletion is being prepared for release and may not be in the version of PULSE you are using. Until it is, email privacy@veyronix.co.uk from the email address linked to your PULSE account to ask about deleting your account.
2. Delete your account in the app
- Open PULSE and go to Profile → Account & data → Delete account.
- Read the summary of what will be erased and what will be kept.
- Email accounts: re-enter your password. Google accounts: you must have signed in within the last 15 minutes.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
3. Delete your account without the app
If you cannot use the app, for example because you no longer have it installed, you can use PULSE's web deletion page. You do not need to sign in, and it works for Google accounts too. A link to that page will be added here when it is available.
- Enter the email address linked to your PULSE account.
- If an account exists, we email you a one-time 8-character code. The page shows the same message whether or not an account exists, so it never reveals who uses PULSE.
- Enter the code within 30 minutes. A code can be tried up to 5 times, and up to 3 codes can be sent to an address per hour.
4. What is deleted
All sessions are ended. Then your profile, goals, body measurements, food, activity, weight and water records, favourites, feedback, choice and consent records, daily-active markers and pending deletion requests are deleted, followed by your user record. If deletion is interrupted, it resumes automatically.
5. What may be kept, and current limitations
- Analytics events, with your user ID removed.
- A deletion receipt (a reference number, date, method and record counts), which contains no email address or user ID.
- Administrator audit-log entries, which may still refer to your former internal ID. That ID can no longer be linked to you.
- Failed sign-in records, which contain no identifiers.
- Feedback screenshots: our storage provider does not currently allow files to be deleted, so PULSE overwrites each screenshot file with an empty file. We cannot yet confirm that earlier versions, cached copies or backups held by the provider are removed.
- Copies in our hosting provider's backups, for as long as the provider keeps them.
6. Download your data first
Before deleting your account, you can download a copy of your data from Profile → Download my data. Analytics events are not included; you can request them from privacy@veyronix.co.uk.
7. Questions
If you have a question about deleting your PULSE account or data, contact privacy@veyronix.co.uk from the email address linked to your PULSE account.
